T-Sponge - FAQs
What is the difference between the regular and mini makeup sponge?
Our large makeup sponge is perfect for applying coverage to your face, like foundation, skin tint, or tinted serum, while the mini is perfect for applying concealer to your under-eyes.
How do you use a mini makeup sponge under the eyes without creasing?
Apply your eye cream, and let it absorb for a few minutes before applying your concealer. Dot a small amount of concealer under your eyes, and lightly bounce the sponge onto your skin to blend – avoid dragging or swiping for a seamless finish.
Should you use a makeup blending sponge wet or dry for liquid foundation?
That’s up to you; our sponges can be used wet or dry. Sponges absorb product, which makes them great for effortlessly blending coverage for a seamless finish, or building up layers without leaving you feeling heavy and cakey. Using our sponges wet will sheer out your base more than using a dry sponge, so if you’re after fuller coverage, we’d recommend using them dry.
How do you clean and sanitise the sponge duo?
It couldn’t be easier. Wash your sponges in lukewarm water and a little liquid cleanser, then rinse thoroughly until the water runs clear. Squeeze out the excess water, and air-dry in a well-ventilated space. We recommend replacing your sponge every 1-3 months. We recommend cleaning your sponges before first use, and after every use.
